The sculpture park is the best place I've ever been in my life. I love it so much I can't even explain the feeling of tranquility that I felt for days after visiting. A quote in the visitors museum made a pretty good go of it though 'like a massage for the brain'

Simply a brilliant day out. Even if you don't like sculpture. The grounds are fantastic. Something for the whole family to do. Excellent food in the restaurant. Well worth a car journey. Even in winter.

Highly recommend taking a trip here. Lovely scenic area with plenty of walks and some unusual sculptures to look at to. There's plenty of parking available starts at 3 for 1 hour but we'll worth the cost. Cafe and toilets on site also dog friendly but all dogs have to be kept on the lead. We visited on a very cold January day and we're surprised the amount of people there can see it being very busy in the warmer months but as I mentioned plenty of parking and such a huge area don't think it would be a problem.

Beautiful location, it would be lovely for walks and picnics with its lake and views. But the sculptures take it to another level. The visitor centre is light and modern. It is a hilly site, so wheelchairs would struggle I think, but walkways make it easy with a pram. I believe there are mobility scooters available and a shuttle bus. The site is served by local bus route. Entry is free, there is a charge to park but I think an absolute bargain - making art accessible to all.

Fabulous range of sculpture set out amongst an awesome landscape. Sturdy shoes recommended if planning to cover a lot of ground. Superb range of food & drink options when you want to take a break. Thoroughly recommended destination.
